One man, two holy books, a single message
The idea came on pilgrimage to Mecca in 1989 and was resisted by almost everyone who first heard it — including his own family. A successful herbalist advocating peace between Christians and Muslims made no sense to them. He carried it anyway.
Thirty-six years later, churches and mosques encourage their pastors and Imams to read both books, and hate speech between the two bodies at public crusades has measurably reduced.

A national tour of leadership
After the launch we toured the South-West to inform royal fathers and religious leaders of the movement’s aim, and wrote to the President, Governors, local government chairmen and legislators at every tier. Renewing that awareness annually is now part of our custom.
Heard beyond Nigeria
The message has been carried abroad through interviews with international media including the BBC in London at Bush House and Brent Radio.
Studied by scholars
Researchers from within and outside Nigeria have visited to understand the movement — among them Dr. Mauloose from Germany, and academics from LASU, UNILAG, OAU and the University of Ibadan.
